Barracuda At Darawan Roof Terrace

When we visited barracuda many years ago, we were so surprised that they could get this kind of high quality food on a small tropical island. on koh tao much time to live, this has become our favorite restaurant. the menu has so many mouthwater dishes to choose that we never get tired of coming here. When Barracuda opened new also in Darawan, we immediately understood that this would be a success, excellent eating at a spacious place with a magnificent view a little away from the busiest part, still easy to reach. fine eating among the stars. the cook is brilliant with taste. the food is cooked with love and with a twist and very tasty displayed. fish, seafood, meat, vegetarian etc., there is something for everyone. the personal is really nice and attentive, all speak well English. start with one of their amazing drinks, passions fruit mojito or Barracuda special. and if they have left some place after the main dish, they end with a dessert to die for, double chocolate tart or limette and ginger cheesecake. the prices are in comparison to what they get, the portions are great! an evening dinner in barracuda is a must when visiting koh tao. to avoid contempt, remember to book your table!

Barracuda in darawan is all as good as the original restaurant, but now with a large open location and a magnificent view! it is a must for anyone who comes to koh tao. Open from 3 o'clock to late, it has an extensive menu of Thai/Western fusion dishes, with a lot of meat, fish, vegetarian and beside dishes. there are also many appetizers, shared plates and some amazing desserts, as well as very delicious cocktails! the staff is friendly and helpful, it is easy to find and there are many parking spaces. they can see their full menus listed on their website, and they can book via phone or facebook.

Food, service, views, price all excellent. Good spot in Koh Tao for a decent western fusion vibe with an unbeatable view. Prices aren't over the top as you might expect with a higher end restaurant, and they do a great sunset happy hour on drinks and share platters (try the Buffalo cauliflower for sure...
