Food undercooked and cold. Replaced then still cold. Serving frozen pizzas. Drinks took over 40mins due to lack of wine glasses. Understaffed then it took 1.5hours for the sushi to arrive. A disastrous evening with hungry kids. Wouldn’t go back. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The idea behind tapas is to order rounds of food as the evening progresses. Waiting for an hour between orders defeats the purpose. Telling us that we can not reserve tables and when we arrive early to get good seating only to find out that all the good tables are reserved was not a good start. The food was mediocre as well, so definitely no recommendation from my side. Kid-friendliness: Nice playpark in the centre Price per person: R 100–150

We loved Tapas Oysters when it first opened and have been visiting for many years. The last few times we visited it was very quiet and was a little disappointed that the menu has much less tapas options and more standard fare but went the weekend before New Year and really enjoyed it. Even though the place was absolutely full, we managed to get a table as others left, and the service and food was excellent really nice to see. Compliments to all the staff and management that the service and food could be so good when so full and busy. Good food and cold beer on a warm day with everyone in happy mood.

Tapas and Oysters in Knysna A Must Visit! We had the pleasure of visiting Tapas and Oysters twice during our stay in Knysna, and both experiences were exceptional! The evening visit was particularly impressive, with outstanding service and a warm welcome, despite not having a booking (Pro tip: Book ahead to avoid disappointment! . Our daytime visit was more relaxed, with plenty of seating available. We were thrilled to discover the fantastic play area for kids, which kept our little ones entertained while we enjoyed our meal. The food and drinks were outstanding! I indulged in a delicious cocktail, and the pizza, sushi, and nachos were all top notch. The quality and flavor were consistently impressive. Definitely worth a visit (or two! when in Knysna!
