Brought the family for dinner. This is a great neighborhood place. Between us we had a SECburger, a Volburger, spaghetti, and a Cajun chicken sandwich. All the entrees were great, and the cake afterwards was delicious! Not fancy, just good food and a clean restaurant.
Was recommended to us by locals. Food was great and everyone was friendly. Can't wait until our next trip!
Great Sandwiches!. I always get the turkey sub and it has been fantastic pretty much every time. One time the bread was stale, but the server was more than happy to have the kitchen make me a new sandwich. My husband usually orders the SEC burger and he loves it, says it's the best burger in town. They have excellent sweet tea which is a must have in any southern restaurant. My only complaint would be that sometimes the people taking the orders at the counter aren't really friendly. They aren't mean, but they don't seem happy to be there and they don't greet the customers. Cheer up guys!
KickASS Burger Greatness!. THis place I heard about from this chick who works at the Mr Zips around the way. She said it was the BEST burger joint in Knoxville and to not mess around: Get the Vol Burger (UTenn mascot is the Volunteer Vol for short...savvy? . Anyway these cats know a thing or two about the burger industry. It was SUPER awesome and they made it Rare As H without a dogfight! The guy actually said 'Rare as H? Good deal now we dont have to spend as much time and money cooking it! Win Win! ' I like the cut of his jib a fellow cheap ass! I am not kidding it rocks!
