Not Watson's Kitchen - Knoxville

First time at this place after a recommendation by hotel staff. It wasn?t too cold and we had a stroller so we sat outside under a heater that they had available. I had the mac and cheese burger and my husband got the fish and chips. All the food was cookedas requested and came out hot. It was pretty tasty but nothing that I would say is something I?d rush back to. The staff weinteracted with were friendly.

Good food and great portions. You won't leave the table hungry. Great staff too. When you're here you should certainly try the banana pudding. It is to die for! Also a great selection of local beers.

Love NOT WATSON'S. Can't give them 5 stars this time, though..., my wife was out of town; we live approximately 40 mins. east of Knoxville and I decided to take my sister to Knoxville since I go to Costco to buy my meat for smoking. Anyway, my wife and I had taken friends to NOT WATSON'S previously and loved everything about it. (food, service, atmosphere, etc. Well, my sister ordered the waffles with chicken. The waffles came with a small plastic container of syrup. The chicken, three pieces, no dipping sauce, etc. When I saw it, I thought, I'm glad I didn't order that! The waffles need to be hot with butter?? One little cup of syrup doesn't do it. The chicken needs a dipping sauce to go with the waffles. Come on, man! My Sister wasn't impressed, to say the least.

I can't remember the server's name but he was awesome and steered is right into the chicken and waffles and the fish and chips.

We ordered the wedge salad and the chimichuri flat iron steak with the mashed potatoes and broccolini. Both were excellent. Would post photos but none were taken. We highly recommend.
