Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We ordered from the door, this location was right on the road from the truck stop where we were. We had good experiences at other locations, so we wanted to get a home cooked style food. It took quite a long time to pick up our order so we expected fresh food. When we got our food, everything was cold. How the food was eaten for a WHILE. Very disappointed has definitely ruined our experience. Won?t order from this place again.

Service this morning was very slow. The turkey sausage is too salty with almost no other taste. The Haschbraun-Casserole was certainly an inadequate amount. Overall, it was pretty good. That might sound like a sacrilege, but we should probably have gone to Waffle House.

Like Cracker Barrel. I'm a big fan of breakfast. This was a little slow (get it with COVID). Grits were tough. The land fried steak was solid and over simple eggs were perfect. Kiddo had chicken pliers that were great. Tried the cat fish; was quite good and the greens with spicy vinegar were good. Always good size (too much). Serviced beer also here!!!

My son ordered shrimps and 4 grilled chicken strips, carrots and broccoli? delicious. I ordered the meat egg dinner, paws, carrots and apples. We always bought a toy and candy from the store. Our favorite place to eat. So 3 meals, a pack of toys and a few sweets and a $6 tip was about $42... not bad in my book:

Where do I start? Visited the restroom before sitting. Nasty. Toilet paper and paper towels everywhere, half the toilets not flushed. Gross. Go to get seated at our table and it was nasty. Table not wiped and the seats were full of nasty stuck food. Had to clean them ourselves as the hostess took off and couldn't find a waitress. Finally ordered drinks and food. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. It came out with no white gravy. 2 nice looking size breasts turned out to be complete breading and barely any meat. Also didn't receive my biscuits. Waitress no way where to be found. Told the waitress about the biscuits when she finally brought the check. Biscuits came out hard as a rock. When paying, asked for a manager. Explained alllll this to her and all she said was she'll look in to it. Take your money elsewhere... Plenty of food places
