Captain D's - Knoxville

Great deal whitefish dinner fried. All fresh good service. Went back the second time they charged extra for the Okra 59. Why I thought you were supposed to get two sides with the white fish meal. Then our meal was two or three dollars more price gouging...

The dining room was closed when we visited which was fine with us. I inquired as too why when it was our turn at the window and was told very short staffed. Very sad that this seems to be the norm across our country. Now on to my review, to those of you who were working at the Halls Crossroads location on 09/16/22 you all knocked it out of the park. The service was spectacular with absolutely no waiting. Our food was some of the best we've had since we've been going to this location. Y'all definitely deserve more than just a pat on the back or a good review but unfortunately this is all I have to offer. Thanks Y'all and we will be back!

This is by far the best Captain D's in the area. Food is always great and you get quite a good deal of food for the money. Great service and clean as a pin.

The staff is nice but the deep fried food gave me an upset stomach. Not because it's bad, no the flavor is good, but I'm not used to deep fried foods and there seems to be a lot of deep fried foods. But a little, at least for me, goes a long way.Good value for the money

The lady behind the counter was patient and very helpful with my son, helping him by reading the menu so he order what he wanted (he's blind). My son really enjoyed his meal on the long drive home!!
