Abridged Beer Company - Knoxville

Charming spot! It's welcoming to both dogs and children, and they offer excellent drinks. We recommend trying the Blueberry Juniper Kombucha and the Baltic Porter. They also have dairy-free pretzels for the kids.

We began visiting Abridged earlier this year, and it has quickly become one of our favorite places in Knoxville! The food is consistently outstanding, and we really enjoy the atmosphere. I particularly love trying the new burger or chicken sandwich of the month, and the sours and ciders are always fantastic as well!

Friday night at 8 PM: it took twenty-five minutes to get a beer served outside. One server mentioned a printer error, while another explained that they only had one bartender on a Friday night. Regardless, the wait was too slow for my liking. It's a shame because the staff was friendly, the outdoor seating area was wonderful, and it was dog-friendly too. Parking was convenient. However, the food menu was limited, and access was only through a QR code, which I’m not fond of as it requires you to use your phone when you’d rather not.

Everyone has been telling me this place has the best burger in Knoxville so I had to try it. Space was super cool and busy. Service was friendly and the food was really good! I ordered the Abridged burger and it did not disappoint. Had a greatexperience and will be back for sure.

You can get a side of asparagus and peppers for $1 more than fries so I opted to upgrade. They accidentally brought me fries instead of my asparagus when my order came so they brought me my asparagus on the side. The burger is small but mighty. It isvery compact and flavorful. I got a cheeseburger with cheddar instead of white American cheese that is comes with. I the onlything I would improve would be to make my burger a little wider instead of taller so it was a bite of bun with burger instead ofhaving an extra half inch of burger bun left when I was done. Otherwise the burger was juicy and delicious. The fries weregood with seasoning on them. I like crispy fries so I liked these. The asparagus was super fresh off the grill and yummy too. Looked like they may have some outdoor stuff like corn hole (bean bag toss) when the weather is nicer. Will have to bring thekids when the weather gets better. I was cold outside but my husband thought it was great in a T-shirt and jeans. I had to geta blanket from the car and I was still cold. I probably should have just sat inside haha.
