Klingenberg is a beautiful little town along the river Main. High above the town is the old castle with a restaurant. Huge windows allow a wonderful view. There is something on the menu for everybody. I had liver with onions and chanterelles. It was excellent. The local wine recommendation was perfect also.Don't miss out on a walk through the vineyards.

My man and I celebrated here our birthday with friends and family. the reservation was made without problems. we were set by the window with view of the beautiful view of klingenberg and the main. service was very friendly and fast, and the food was excellent, fresh and very tasty. I would definitely come back here.

I will give this place two stars, one for the breathtaking view and the second for the experience of lounging in the ruins of an old castle. but our service was terrible. After we were there for a few minutes, we had to ask the waitress to bring the menu because she never brought us one. it was very strange and involuntary. the best tables were reserved so that we in the sun without the advantage of a sunshade that made the visit a bit unpleasant. eating was only average. on the way out we had to ask the bill twice, because the first question either fell into the cracks or we were simply ignored by the crumble lady we serve. simple terrible service.
