My family has been visiting the Outer Banks for 25 years, and we always make it a tradition to stop by Big Bucks for ice cream every day during our vacation. No other ice cream compares to this delightful treat. Thank you for all the wonderful memories over the years!

During our holiday at the Outer Banks, we were lucky to discover this ice cream shop. Without a doubt, it serves the best ice cream we've ever tasted!

This place is on the pricier side, but you're paying for delicious, homemade ice cream from a local shop, not Dairy Queen, so don't expect DQ prices. The man behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed a scrumptious chocolate peanut butter shake, while my kids had a small strawberry and a small Crazy Vanilla, and my husband opted for a small mint chocolate chip. The employee even took the time to show us the ice cream machine and explained the production process. He was incredibly patient with my 5-year-old. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

Amazing staff! So very friendly. The smoothies were out together very cute with an island umbrella and a swig of soft serve at the top as a decoration. Not to mention- DELICIOUS!
