A truly hidden gem, behind windy roads on the way to Denver. Incredible steak and service. Great theme and ambiance.

Dave and his team always provide superb food and service. It is our go-to place when company is in town. And for more casual fare, the bar is a great place to hang out and order appetizers or their full menu.

Although this wasn't my first time dining here, it was disappointing. With a reservation, we were seated immediately, but service was slow. Waitress was less attentive as our meal progresses. She did not give us the early dine menu, we had to ask. Also took a long time for food to come out. Ordered the NY Strip steak, and it was very grisly and tough. No seasoning at all. Nor was it cooked medium well as ordered, it was rather rare. Took forever to get dessert ordered and delivered, and even longer to pay bill and leave. Bill was sitting on table with card for roughly 10 minutes, before waitress noticed. Just an overall disappointing experience. Probably will not be back. The creamed corn was good though!

We took advantage of the early menu, which is a great value. Our food and service were both excellent. This was our 4th visit and we have had a similar experience each time.

We've dined at Black Hat Cattle Co before, and had a great dining experience at that time. After staying in Evergreen over the weekend, we've decided to go there again, and the dining experience was very pleasant again. The staff is very friendly, and the Entrees we've had were superior. Whenever we go visiting this area, the Black Hat Cattle Co is a must to visit for lunch or Dinner.
