フィードバックを提供するIt's hard to find decent noodle soup here in Kitchener/Waterloo, or maybe I am not looking properly! This joint is nicely situated off the HWY7, very busy on weekends. Cannot compared to the places I have been to in Markham/Scarborough/Mississauga, but if you are craving it, it will definitely satisfy your cravings. I ordered their special pho (L), and my friend ordered the bun bo hue (spicy), and we shared their spring rolls. The soup base could use more flavour, and their spring rolls are the traditional rice paper spring rolls. Btw their Large pho is pretty big.. I got two meals out of it!
I had lunch here a while ago after it was recommended by a family member, and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I ordered the Grilled Chicken and Spring Roll Vermicelli Bowl $10.95) which consisted of marinated grilled chicken and crispy spring roll over vermicelli noodle. Lettuce, bean sprout, cucumber, carrot, and mint leaves. It was delicious, and I would highly recommend it! If you're not a fan of Vermicelli Bowls, then the Green Curry, Pho, and Pad Thai are also very tasty. Previously, I was visiting another Thai restaurant in the area, but Pho Tran has become my new go-to.
Covid prices?! Your typical Pho place although I was surprised by the prices. Which means value is pretty low as the food taste didn 't change. 8/10 for food although I used to go here all the time prior to covid
The best Pho place tried in kw region so far. The restaurant is bright and clean. The food is in good price and high quality. Much better than that 500 good reviews' popular pho place in Waterloo.
Don't judge a book by its cover. Even though this place looks a bit sketchy from the outside, the inside is very modern and the food is fantastic. My wife got the vermicelli with spring roll, grilled pork and shredded pork. It was one of the best vermicellis I've tried in a long time and even compares well to the many Vietnamese restaurants in the GTA. I got the green curry, which was also good but kind of paled in comparison to the vermicelli. The chicken was slightly rubbery and dry. Still the curry sauce as good although I like slightly more coconut flavour in my green curry. Best of all, prices were fair especially considering the portions are bigger than most other Vietnamese restaurants that I've been to. This place is truly a hidden gem in Kitchener, and I hope they get more traffic because they deserve it. This is easily the best Vietnamese restaurant in the region.
