The best! Stayed at the Trump Turnberry and this is the place to go for dinner in the area. Anything on the lobster menu is a must. Cozy atmosphere. Amazing food. Ridiculously great desert shop attached. A must go to spot if in the Turnberry area.

This historic traditional thatched building has been recently refurbished following a devastating fire. The new look Souters Inn has more of an upmarket continental cafe bistro vibe in contrast to its previous dark traditional olde worlde pub look. We popped in hoping for a hearty warming bowl of soup on a cold blustery day, but sadly the soup of the day was chicken and rice (I'm vegetarian) and as we weren't hungry enough for a full meal we just grabbed a seat by the bar and enjoyed some great coffee. Maybe we'll go back some day when we're more hungry and sample the menu properly. Very handy location on the A77 if you need a pit-stop on your travels. Plenty of parking. Lovely looking patisserie, icecream and other edible deliciousness available in the attached deli shop. Menu looks interesting if a tad on the expensive side, though the vegetarian options don's seem to have changed much in many many years. I recall a lunch of macaroni cheese, chips and mashed potato (carb carb more carb) in a previous decade and its still on the menu. Price-wise there is a set menu at certain times of the day with two courses for £12. Decent value unless you are vegegarian where the option is penne pasta arrabiata with pesto. My coffee was £2.20 and as good as any I've had. Pleasant staff. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Worth a try if you are passing.

Food was excellent. Nice service and good value for money. This is our current favourite from the Costley group.

Very nice cafe and nice staff. the freshly baked brote were of great quality, they were so easy to eat.

Nice place. good top class with an extensive menu. really enjoyed. would recommend a visit.
