The Bengal At The Clothiers Arms

Popped in for dinner whilst in the area for work. We didn't have a booking but space was available. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Poppadoms and chutneys were served and were good and served quickly along with draught Kingfisher. The main course of Veg Thali was really good. The mix of rice, alloo and saag dishes along with a naan, bhaji and superb chickpea curry made for a very filling meal. The waiters were friendly and service was efficient. They also kindly booked a cab for us to get back to our hotel.

The food here was excellent. The staff were good fun and helpful. I had a chicken Tikka main with a sauce on the side which was delicious and a side of rice.

The Best Indian Restaurant in the Holme Valley! It’s a little off the beaten track but the effort is well worth it! The dishes are cooked to order and the staff are keen to help and advise on the various dishes available. The portion sizes are large and you can also get a decent pint in the adjoining pub so what’s not to like? Give it a try and I’m sure you won’t go elsewhere once you have!

Very fresh and lighter food, the pus next door to have a drink while your takeaway it being cooked, or sit in for a great meal.

We have been coming here for years and our most recent takeaway did not disappoint! Brilliant, friendly service upon collection with a socially distanced queue we will be back!
