Kale Mangal Evi - Kirikkale

I ordered grilled meatballs and asked for ayran on the side. First, they brought cola instead. I repeated my request for ayran, and then a carton of ayran arrived. I thought that in a place like this, they should serve proper whipped ayran, and when I saw that another table was getting whipped ayran, I asked them to change mine. However, when the whipped ayran came, I was disappointed to find it didn't have any froth on top. Then the grilled meatballs arrived. The taste was average. However, the roasted tomato that accompanied it was undercooked, and the roasted pepper was pre-cooked and cold. Still, I gave it 3 stars for the overall appearance of the establishment and the ambiance.

The restaurant has seating available both indoors and outdoors. Their meatballs and pot tea are quite good. We visited during Ramadan in 2018 with a group of friends, and it wasn't the best choice for iftar. We sat inside and were surrounded by grill smoke the entire time. The service was lacking and slow. However, when we returned this year with a group of friends for a meal, we were satisfied with our experience.

This is an excellent restaurant. The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, fast, and well-organized, truly dedicated to their work. It's a wonderful place where you can spend quality time with your family in a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The variety of dishes, soups, salads, appetizers, and desserts are outstanding—simply the best. The tea served from the traditional samovar creates an authentic ambiance. Additionally, the cleanliness is impeccable. I extend my respect to the owners and staff of Kale Mangal and Çorba Evi for their hard work and dedication.

As a business, we respect all criticism, but please be honest—everyone should come and see the service and quality for themselves.

The prices are a bit on the expensive side, but it's one of the nicest places to visit as a family. They serve tea in a samovar after the meal. The appetizers are constantly replenished, and there is a wide variety. However, if you want to try the lamb liver, you need to arrive early; we went in the evening twice and they were out of it both times.
