The White Lady - Kinsale

The staff at the White Lady were absolutely fantastic and friendly. When we were looking for a room and they were fully booked, Anthony went above and beyond by calling other places to find us accommodation for the night.

We stayed at the hotel. We had drinks in the bar but did not eat dinner here. Although the hotel had limited parking, we were lucky to find a spot on the street steps away. there is no elevator and we had to carry our suitcases up several flights of narrow steps. The room was small, but not unexpected in Europe. It had a double and a twin bed. The bathroom had only a shower, which was fine, but there was really no where to put our toiletries. For one night, we could handle it. The location is OK. It is a short walk to the harbor or on to the main shopping and dining area. However, the hotel is in a quiet and dimly lit street. It appeared that the hotel was popular with golfers. The bar was called the Nineteenth Hole. Breakfast was included.

We spent two nights at the White Lady, a cozy family-run hotel located slightly off the main road but still close to all the attractions. Situated above a popular restaurant and bar, the hotel offers about ten rooms. While the bar was lively on Saturday night, we had a peaceful stay on Sunday night. The owner, as mentioned in other reviews, was friendly and accommodating. However, as it is a small hotel, the front desk may not always be staffed. The breakfast was excellent, and we regretted not dining at the restaurant at least once, as the menu looked tempting. Kinsale itself is a delightful town worth exploring. We would return to the White Lady, but would request a room away from the bar on weekends.

My family and I all agree that we had an amazing meal at this welcoming restaurant in Kinsale, which was recommended to us by our tour guide from Executive Hire tours. Anthony, who I believe is the owner, made us feel right at home and even shared a few laughs with us. We all ordered different dishes - the green curry was absolutely delicious, my brother tried the red curry, my father had the fish and chips, and my mother enjoyed a teriyaki dish. Everything was outstanding!

Tony was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to help a pair of lost tourists (us . He found us a last minute room (at a different establishment! during an incredibly busy weekend, and welcomed us back like old friends for a late dinner. Great food, great service, and even better people at the White Lady.
