フィードバックを提供するWe booked a tour and tasting today… Only to arrive and find out that it wasn’t open. They had called to let us know that they were closed… But phone reception in Pelee Island isn’t great… And we had already taken the ferry here… Maybe next time will get in: staff there were friendly, but not at all prepared to open. There must be a problem with OpenTable booking system, as the same thing happened with a Pelee Island winery tours…
Went there late just before closing time. Very friendly service staff. Quick service. Hot food. Delicious pizza. Hugh outdoor space available looking over the ferry terminal.
Stopped in with the wife and 5 kids on Labour Day weekend. On this visit we chose 3 different pizzas for a quick visit. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! Drinks were tasty and cold. Views of the west shore are unbeatable, especially around sunset. Lots of action in the area as this restaurant is located next to the ferry docks so there is always something to see. We will be back.Parking: Lots of parking available in front of establishment as well as on both sides. Golf cart rentals available on site as well.
A big thanks to Janice, David and Stone House 1891 for catering our wedding at the Pelee Island Winery Pavilion!They provided food and service for our cocktail hour, reception and late night snack. They did a great job and the food was delicious (our guests gave especially good reviews of the cocktail hour appetizers)!Next time we're on the Island, we'll be sure to pay them a visit at their beautifully-located restaurant on the west shore.Thanks again!
The bar was understandably busy given that the restaurant was full, and we noticed a young female server assisting the bartender, which showcased great teamwork—a rarity in many places. Unfortunately, we then witnessed an incredibly distressing situation. An older gentleman, presumably the owner, severely disrupted our experience by loudly berating an older lady, who appeared to be the manager. He was shouting at her, insisting that nobody should be behind the bar except the bartender and criticizing her competence in a harsh manner. We have never seen such a blatant disrespect for employees. In our view, the owner displayed appalling behavior. While the food and service surpassed our expectations, the owner’s actions overshadowed our visit. If we return to the island and see him in the establishment, we will likely choose to dine elsewhere. Food: 11 out of 10 Service: 10 out of 10 Ownership: -10 out of 10 I sincerely hope the manager reaches out to the labor board, as no one deserves to be treated that way in their workplace.
