Wags N Tales - Kingston upon Thames

Unfortunately this is not the place it used to be. There were 3 people who were serving a pretty full restaurant: 1 barman, 1 chef and 1 waitress. Amazingly, the food came out in no time but there was a sense of being run down and it lacked a vibe. I also recently heard that Wags N Tales will be shutting down. Sad times. We went in last week for a pint and a bite to eat with our dog. The gentleman working there was really friendly, despite our reservations about it being veggie the food was very nice and beer was good :0) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40

This place is dog friendly , however , it is renowned amongst Surbiton parents that it is NOT group baby friendly (the topic came up this morning at a play group and 3 mums I had just met said the same). The disabled toilet has a changing table , but no nappy bin , so they ask you to take it home . I’ve been with a group of new mums once and the staff were very hostile which made us all anxious.. it’s a shame because the place is big and there’s definitely room to put some prams to the side and not block emergency exits.. also it is dead in the week day mornings and that’s usually when we meet, so I do not see the issue ! We’re paying customers they could make a fortune from us nevermind it’s their loss ! The coffee shops pubs close by are very welcoming

We had such a lovely dinner at Wags N Tales tonight, we just had to leave a review. This place tricks all our boxes locally owned, reasonably priced, great veggie options (even the meat eaters among us agreed the food was amazing), relaxed and family friendly, with incredibly helpful and polite staff. Just as importantly they welcome dogs, offering our pup his own water bowl and he loved the ‘pup cake’ which is just one of the selection of doggie treats they offer. On our visit there were 3 very well behaved dogs enjoying quality time with their families and also families with small children. Every one was catered for beautifully and the atmosphere was happy and chilled. Thanks to the staff for a great Friday family night out.

Love this place. great staff fast service and a good place to meet people and have a good old boogie!
