We visited during Restaurant Week and were extremely impressed. Everything was outstanding - from the friendly greeting to the attentive service, delicious food, and elegant dining space. We will definitely be coming back.
We recently dined at the Mulberry Restaurant and enjoyed the Norfolk Restaurant Week Menu. The menu offered a variety of options for starters, mains, and desserts. I opted for the cured salmon with blackberries and lime gel, while my wife chose the ham hock terrine with poached egg pea puree. Both dishes were beautifully presented and the flavors were excellent. For our mains, I had the pan-fried hake with mashed potatoes, peas, pancetta, and crispy leeks, and my wife had the pan-roasted chicken breast with dauphinois potatoes, sweetcorn puree, and crispy kale. The flavors and combinations of both dishes were fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was clear that the chefs were very talented. We had a wonderful meal and evening and highly recommend a visit to Mulberry Restaurant. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Very poor service. Great chef who has been badly let down by the front of house. Tables not ready when we arrived, 3 items on menu not available (at 6pm on a Saturday night). Was given the ‘Norfolk restaurant week’ menu and then after we had chosen was told we had the wrong menu and was given a lesser menu to choose from
A really delicious Sunday lunch although they had run out of their Norfolk pork roast which we were looking forward to. Our lunch booking was late on into the service so I suppose it is understandable. The service was excellent and very caring (we had a baby elderly parent with dementia in our party!! Will definitely be back!!
