Explorers Restaurant - Kingaroy

The waitress was absolutely delightful. However, the beef brisket covered in raspberry jam with mashed potatoes was cold and possibly a health risk. My wife's chicken dish was just okay and at least it was warm.

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and two out of three dishes were very good, but one was not. The biggest issue was the long wait of an hour and ten minutes between the garlic bread starter and our main courses. The steak and bacon-wrapped chicken breasts were tasty, but the ribs were overwhelmed by a strong sauce. The prices were reasonable, and the service was okay, with apologies for the delay, but overall it was not a memorable experience.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. I ordered the barramundi with chips and salad and it was a fantastic choice. The fish portion was generous and cooked to perfection, and the salad was delicious.Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

The food was good, but quite pricey for what you got. Service was good and friendly. Not a great selection

The service was nice and the spring roll entrees were tasty, but there was quite a wait for the main course. It was fine but really not much better than decent standard pub food, for almost double the price in some cases. You do get a reasonable. sized portion for the price, but quality and taste wise it just doesn’t justify the cost I’m afraid and was under seasoned. Decor is nice though and I think with some tweaks this could comfortably be a four star venue.
