Smittys Killam Krossing

We decided to stop in for breakfast, but unfortunately, both of our orders were incorrect. To make matters worse, there was a hair on my toast. After it was taken away, they returned it with the correct toast—thank goodness for that! However, my shredded hash browns were ruined; it seemed like they had been microwaved too long. It's a shame because we usually enjoy Smitty's, but we won't be returning after this experience.

This is a Smitty's restaurant, and the meals here are excellent. It's definitely one of the better Smitty's locations.

I would rate this restaurant 4 stars, but on our third night, the hot water went out (it was scheduled to be fixed in the morning). When I went to the front desk to ask about it, Lenora went above and beyond to ensure we had a hot shower. If the rest of the staff is even half as fantastic as she is, we will definitely return! Thank you, Lenora—you are the best!

So disappointing. Was hoping for a go to restaurant for breakfast, but this was definitely not it. Food tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Between the eggs, sausage and french toast it was seriously gross.

"The restaurant accepts debit Visa cards, but it's essential to be really polite when using them. I advise against asking for tea at the front desk—it’s quite surprising that they don't serve it, considering it's one of the most popular beverages in the world. You'll only be offered coffee instead. If I could offer two pieces of advice: the staff could benefit from some hospitality training, and be cautious about the nearby Denny's; even locals have cautioned us about the quality of the food there."
