Legan Castle Farmhouse - Kilkenny

My wife and I have dined at this restaurant twice, and each time has been an exceptional experience. Caroline, the host, is incredibly welcoming and goes out of her way to ensure you enjoy your visit. The food is consistently delicious, and we are already planning to make this an annual tradition because we enjoy it so much.

My three-night stay at the Guest House was fantastic. The peaceful surroundings helped me relax, especially with the ponies and cute foal in the nearby field. Caroline, along with her dog Arthur, was a warm and welcoming host. Her delicious breakfasts proved she is a talented cook. I highly recommend staying here for a wonderful experience.

What for a few days we have at the legan castle farmhouse glamping. from the moment we arrived, the treatment we received from caroline was all above the first class. we were in their beautiful couple safari tent, which was so peaceful and relaxing, looking into the nature. caroline has the place that looks amazing everything is so clean and tidy and eating is simply outstanding! a special mention of the living dog arthur for some very entertaining moments. many thanks for a nice experience caroline and we can not wait to come back soon. best wishes ash and rob

What should I say? well, we were in the big family tent with decking (covered, for perfect irish al fresco dining room! after our delicious wine board (made by caroline we roasted marshmallows on the bbq. the double bed and the cot were heavenly, we slept all like babys. only to notice, it is a very quiet opposite with the advantage of just a few other campers! equipment: beautifully restored barn building with high quality Lux shower/wash kitchen (towels provided kitchenette with all the basics, i.e. BBQ equipment, dishes/utensils, water cooker, mini fridge. bbq charcoal, lighters, wood. I don't know what else to add, all we thought was already here! highlights: breakfast! delicious pfann cakes brought to the tent. the relaxed vibe, caroline was in this one because loves a chat! beautiful hostess, very real person. our son loved the adventurous of the place, while still more puffing in the bed and a nearby plunder. for me it is the little haptics like single towel and my favorite handwashing (irish brand.) another thing, my man said a thing that they notice is that everything smells well, no mold-moist etc. everything is immaculate!

Our first experience of glamping was Legan Castle and what an experience. From the moment we arrived it was special beyond our expectations. Beautiful scenery by day sky full of stars at night, comfy and relaxing the perfect getaway. Our host Caroline was brilliant. Can’t wait to return. Absolutely loved the place.
