Kendals Brasserie - Kilkenny

You won't go hungry here, great menu selections, from starters, main courses, and desserts, allthough my duck was cooked to crisp, other guests were very pleased with selections, food presentation classic, wait service good.

We made a reservation for one evening during our recent visit, as we had dined here previously and found it to be very good. Although the menu is somewhat small and limited, it offers a variety of dishes that will appeal to most diners. The restaurant has taken steps to improve its service and overall appeal, similar to the Lady Helen Restaurant in the main house, which has resulted in higher prices. Despite this, we still had a wonderful meal and found the service to be excellent.

Staying at Mt. Juliet we ate on the grounds and had a verynice upsscale meal and excellent service. Although I've never been charged for drinking water in Ireland, but was here.

Very busy as the golf club use this restaurant. At present July 2016 there is building work. Staff very pleasant and chatty.

The restaurant had a beautiful setting and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our time in the room and sipped our wine while placing our order. The cod and trout were both perfect, as was the filet. Everything we tried tasted amazing. We were too full to have dessert, but overall it was a great experience.
