フィードバックを提供するWe went to Sundowners on Memorial Day weekend and while it was crowded it was not over bearing. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and were very pleased. I ordered the Key Lime Seafood and was so impressed that I asked our waiter if he could get me the recipe and I got it from the chef. My husband had prime rib only served on certain days and it was juicy and nicely flavored. The only thing I noticed it that there is no bread served and if you want to add soup or salad to your meal it is pricey at $4. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The view of Blackwater Sound is awesome and a must is the Mahi Mahi stuffed with crab! The best place to sit is on the outside patio where you have great service and you get a real feel for the Florida Keys.
Sundowners is what every tourist (and local) seeks from Florida: on the water, great food, drinks and stunning sunsets. Stick with the fish dishes; they are fresh. On Friday they have a fish special. Try it. Only complaint: it can get crowded but if you like that, so what. Plenty of parking. Go in the evening, not for lunch catch the sunset.
