Ketchikan's Gold Pan Pizza

We've traveled to all 50 states, enjoying pizza from many of them along the way. For our final stop, we chose Gold Pan Pizza, and it certainly didn't let us down. We rated the pepperoni pizza among the top three we've ever tasted. This place is truly a gem in the gold pan!

They have a great deal on buffet, and good prices for slices (for Ketchikan). This said, I ordered buffet, got first wave of food, have been waiting over an hour for them to make more slices. I recommend not offering a buffet if you can't keep up with with the slices. To add to this. There is nothing on menu that says days for lunch menu. I've walked in twice before this and was told that they were not doing buffet today. Again, don't offer it if you can't do it.

Just got back my cheese pizza with barbecue sauce, or what was SUPPOSED to be my pizza. Instead I got a flattened, beaten up, circle of dough with no sauce whatsoever ever and maybe an after thought of cheese. The slices, if you can call them that, were done with little to no care. I would have to recommend eating anywhere else

Now, I'm not saying the pizza tasted terrible – we ended up eating it because my family was quite hungry by then. I called to express my frustration, and while they offered a refund, that wasn’t really my main concern. What upset me was how long they took to take my order yet they failed to deliver what I had requested. One thing's for sure: I will never be ordering from there again!

The pizza was not impressive. It seemed like it could have used a bit more time in the oven, as the crust on the bottom was undercooked.
