Vadaskert Vendéglő - Keszthely

Oh dear. We came here a number of years ago and it was fairly pleasant, however, we went tonight and I can seldom recall being made to feel less welcome in a place of hospitality. After ordering and receiving drinks we tried to order from the (far too complicated) menu but, mid way through the process, with the waiter and waitress were clearly and obviously wishing we weren't there, so we paid for the drinks and voted with our feet. We are a family of four with 2 young kids. We wont be back and if you like a modicum of friendliness, we'd recommend you steer clear as well. Try Halászcsárda which is 4 minutes away, has a better menu and prices, is friendly and has stunning panoramic views.

What a great place. Outstandingly delicious food, friendly multilingual staff, and reasonable prices. Warmed plates kept the food warm. Really to be recommended.
