Halászcsárda - Keszthely

Beautiful location and very nice service, unfortunately the dishes served are some kind of culinary misunderstanding. We had an impression that the chef had no idea about cooking. The fish soup was very weak and without any taste and the fried fishes were inedible... fried in deep fat, dry, fatty and smelt badly. Finally, prices inadequate to the quality, for two soups and three dishes plus drinks we paid almost 90 euros. I do not recommend this place for anything else than just drinks.

Really good fish. The halaszle soup was very thick and it had a huge amount of catfish. Very good bread, soft and fluffy. Would really recommend the catfish paprikas, very delicious. Good service. Very nice terrace with Balaton view. Good parking.

Food is below average, tasteless even. Prices are in no contrast to the size and quality of the food (extremely small). Location has an okay view of the lake but also a superb view of train tracks. The beer fits the food perfectly, overpriced and tasteless. No recommendation, tourist trap .

Overpriced and underwhelming. You would expect a place to have decent halászlé when they have an entire page dedicated to it on the menu, but it was very mediocre. Almost tasteless and very salty. The other foods we ordered were also nothing special. The desserts were tasty and the service and drinks were good, but the prices were extremely high for what was a mediocre meal

Great atmosphere , broad choice of main dishes. We ordered the fish plate. Perfect.
