Georges Grill - Kerkyra

The one really Greek tavern in the city. Very good in quality and taste. I love the original atmosphere in the front part of the restaurant. But in the backyard it is also really nice and more "tourist" guests.

I ate in on my own. Lots of takeout through the window onto the street. Charcoal spit of chicken, pork, lamb turning constantly. Polite cat, didn’t beg too much. Very tasty food. Yes that’s a slab of feta cheese on top of a Greek salad the size of a double bed!

Nice local taverna selling typical Greek food and doing it well. Staffing shortage when we visited but it looked as if elderly family relatives were stepping into the breach and giving great service.

For local Greek food visit this place, might be crowded but worth a wait.

We waited a very long time for our order. The gurl that served us wasn't very helpfull and was quite rude, small portion of food, not very tasty.
