Suzy Q has been operating as a takeout-only restaurant since the pandemic, so dining in is not an option. They make fresh batches of donuts daily, and those are the only kind available for order unless you call ahead to request a different variety. The donuts resemble cake more than traditional fried donuts. While the price may seem a bit high for a single donut, it's more like a donut cake in terms of size and quality. I usually share each donut, eating half or a quarter, so I can try different flavors. The ingredients they use are premium, and you can definitely taste the difference. Every time I've bought donuts from here, they've been incredibly fresh. Although there's typically a lineup, it's worth the wait. Plus, there are often some cute deals available. Parking is street-only, but it's free for up to 90 minutes.

I make it a point to seek out handcrafted donuts in every city I visit, and Suzy Q’s Salted Caramel might just top my list. It's an all-time favorite: moist, airy, with gooey caramel and the perfect touch of salt. Wow! Other standouts included the Raspberry Cassis and London Fog flavors. The donuts are truly exceptional.

Whenever I visit Ottawa, I make it a point to stop by this place. The donuts are always fresh, likely due to the constant stream of customers. They offer unique flavor combinations, with my favorites being cookies and cream cheese and cinnamon toast crunch! Although there is usually a line, it moves quickly since people know exactly what they want (they conveniently display the options in the window before you order!). There’s no seating available, so it’s strictly a takeout spot to enjoy at home.

He made a stop here for our friend's recommendation! I love a good doughnut, so I tried to get two. I have still regret not to buy two, so perhaps take my experience as a warning and buy more than one if you on the fence about buying one or two haha My friend said that the one who ordered them most from here, the [RASPBERRY CASSIS DOUGHNUT] $5I was concerned, it would be too sour, but the level of acidic and sweet actually balanced each other out of SO well. In addition, the donut itself was not too dense, so I felt like I had two slightly sworn. Unfortunately, I only bought one, but there's always the next time. I will come back 100% to try more flavors and you should also!

If you want amazing doughy goodness In your life look no further! They always have some new flavours to try. But I had the banana pudding, s'mores, Oreo cheesecake and the Original! Great donuts : !!!
