We had waited more than 1 h for our dishes in a restaurant with just 5 tables occupied. The quality of the food is far from the oriental authentic food.
Just reopened with new management to supposedly cook Mediterranean food. They don't even have a proper menu yet and instead use old menus with the old branding from the steakhouse half of the things they don't even cook any more. So the waiter suggested a selection of mezze for starters between the 2 of us, which we agreed to. It came with Hoummous, Moutabel, Halomi, Taboulleh and weirdly two sticks of asparagus. Each dish was poor, with the Hommous and Moutabel laden with so much lemon they made you cringe. Having just had the starters we decided that was enough and asked for the bill..... The total came to £56 for us both. Yes £56 for some cold vegetarian dips with a bottle of sparkling water. We did not have a drop of alcohol. Will never go back. Embarrassingly bad
The staff is very nice and good the music as well. But the owner is very rude and unpleasant. The rice is the worst I eat, I passed the whole day to digest it.It was of the day before because I have seen the chef heat it in the microwave.
Recently taken by the new owners told us when we reserve that the goal of moving towards Lebanese food. The lamb and the chicken main dishes were delicious and the locusts, I started the food with a subtle citrus sauce that was a delight. The Lebanese wines were not on the menu and we were happy to order the price before ordering. He said that Lebanese wine for 25 pounds was very good. The waiters were very attentive with a slight touch. During the meal there was an excellent young jazz trio that added the pleasure of the food. In general, a delicious meal in a charming setting. A great discovery. Clearly in the four weeks since its inauguration the new team have found their feet. We really want to come back again.
