Basil Wok - Kenosha

I ordered three meals at 7 PM, but was informed that our driver got lost. He finally arrived at 9:15 PM. The food was cold and tasted terrible. To make matters worse, we didn’t receive the egg rolls we had paid for. I definitely will NOT be returning. P.S. The food quality is worse than what you’d find at a mall food court.

I took my dad to this restaurant, and we absolutely loved it! The staff was incredibly friendly, and our food arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. I ordered the Thai Beef with spicy basil sauce and pork fried rice, which had a wonderful kick, and the basil and peppers were very fresh and flavorful. My dad had the shrimp with vegetables, and he enjoyed it just as much as I did—we both finished every bite! Kenosha was lacking in Thai cuisine, but not anymore! We can't wait to return soon.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Although the neighborhood may seem a bit rough, the owner and the quality of the food made it all worthwhile. The Mongolian Beef and Pad Thai were both outstanding! I will definitely return. Plus, I enjoyed a great conversation with the owner, who was genuinely nice and an exceptionally talented chef. I highly recommend this place.

The food was amazing! The prices were quite reasonable as well. We enjoyed the rangoon, satay, Happy Family, Spicy Peanut Curry, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was a delight to see the chef at work, and the kids really enjoyed it too. Joe, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The spice level was just right for both dishes, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you for the fantastic meal!
