フィードバックを提供するCAUTION HUNGRY PATRONS! This restaurant has undergone a change in ownership, and unfortunately, the new staff has failed to maintain the original spirit of the establishment. The food lacks flavor, and the service leaves much to be desired. I received plain white fried rice, and even adding soy sauce didn’t help achieve the taste I was hoping for. After many years of visiting this restaurant, I won’t be coming back.
This restaurant may not have the best appearance, especially with a trendy new Thai street food place just across the street that likely attracts more attention. Additionally, there are old “Best of” awards from the early 2000s collecting dust on the walls of Penang. However, despite the challenges of staying current, I genuinely think Penang serves the finest Thai food in the area. Everything I’ve tried from their menu has been excellent. The food is authentic, and you can tell they prioritize the quality of what they offer.
We were very disappointed with this restaurant. My friend and I used to frequent Penang when they were located in Buford. After they sold that location, we followed them to Kennesaw and visited multiple times. The food and service were exceptional back then. However, we hadn't been there in a few years, and when we went a couple of days ago, the food was awful. The roti canai was underwhelming, and the curry was watery. The curry sayur tasted terrible, and it was dark, thin, and lacked flavor. We also ordered a noodle dish, but it was excessively salty. It seems like there has been a change in ownership and the kitchen staff as well. We really miss the great food from the original Penang.
Apparently this place had excellent food. But our experience was horrible. The roti Kani was so horrible. I would never go back again. The fried rice was not bad but everything was horrible. Pennage is Malaysia and they never made it . Sad to say it I would never go again. The hostess was pleasant.
I love the food here because it makes me feel like close to home.I love asam laksa when I growing up is the noodle serve in a fish broth soup and a bit sour from the tamarind. It has cucumber, onions, and pineapples. The owners are from Penang, Malaysia, they know how to cook the asam laksa.Very good Malaysian foods offer in this restaurant.Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian dishesKid-friendliness: It is a family restaurantParking: The restaurant has it own parking.
