フィードバックを提供するI just got the Essen Fit Breakfast Burrito. It was delicious! It feeds two people. I definitely go back. And the person in the register could not have been nicer. I got a vanilla coffee, it was great too!
I wish I could leave it a zero-star rating. Food is too expensive. Definitely better options out there. The staff is always rude, even the owner. You never put napkins in your pocket in the drive-thru unless you ask. And they'll give you a stance when you ask. My last Grip called in an order and when I picked it up, it was more than the posted price on their website. I asked the owner why it was more, and she just crumbled and said It shouldn't even be there. Now I know the law, and I could 've stood my ground and demanded that they calculate me the quoted, advertised price on their website, but this point is not worth it and I simply decided that I never come again. I'd rather spend my money in a place that better treats their customers. To summarize it, the staff is rude, the food is not really so great, and they will charge you more than the menu states and not flash an eye over it. ?
I've genuinely tried to return to this restaurant since I live nearby, but the casual food and overall lack of excellence have led me to conclude it's time to move on. While there are some good items, like the salad and the burger, the rest of the menu is quite inconsistent. I wish them all the best, but I think I'll venture a bit farther down the road for more options for now.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with cheerfulness that set a wonderful tone. I really don't understand the appeal of the big chains; everyone seems to be in a rush, focused on the clock. After placing my order for an ice cream coffee, I was given a thoughtful selection of milk options, and here comes the magical part: I was asked what color I wanted my ice cream to be! I was so pleasantly surprised by the question! Yes, please! I prefer my ice cream creamy to balance out the coffee. Shouldn't it always be that way? Normally, other places just add a bit of ice and then pour in the coffee, with just a splash of milk. I can’t recall ever visiting a coffee shop that inquired about the color of my coffee; it was such a great touch. It's the little details that truly make a difference. Although I didn't stay to dine, I noticed the food being served to other guests was beautifully plated, and everything appeared clean and well-organized. This speaks volumes about good ownership and management, focused on creating a happy experience for returning customers. Even though I only placed a simple order, it was still a magical experience. And just to clarify, I don't know who the owners are—I'm just an average person who happened to stop by.
My breakfast was absolutely delicious as expected. This was my first time there since the pandemic hit. I was a daily customer at the former Cafe on Chateau Boulevard. Wi-Fi was offered here but not working so I will go one more time and if no Wi-Fi again, I won't be back. Really want to be a regular here but I'm not hopeful.
