I have lost 101 lbs in the last two years, so the salad bar got my attention for all healthy decisions. I sneak past the pizza bar to grab some small slices. 1 piece of Bbq chicken pizza and 1 piece of Veggie pizza. Both were delicious. They seem to use another pizza crust than they used to and I don't like it exactly (but I don't hate it either). The crust seems to be much denser than it was earlier so that you taste with a Bland-Tough flavor instead of a beautiful buttery garlic crust. The same applies to the bread sticks. When we arrived halfway through the lunch brush, the forks and knives were completely empty, so we had to ask for some. But not a terrible big problem. We had a great waitress named Meggen, who ran around frant to keep up with the lunch break. The girl needs a raise! She did a great job. They seemed a little short staff.
Good variety of food and choices. Quality was good. Attentive manager.
Izzy's Kelso closed for a while after a kitchen fire. At first, the food was horrible, but progressively got back on track to 5 stars. Now they have been closed for well over a year due to Covid and sadly, All Izzy's have closed permanently after declaring bankruptcy July 2021. The owner of the building is the Three Rivers Village, the owners of the Mall. There are no mentions of this building being listed for lease. This area loves banquet/all you can eat restaurants, but there are not any the closest thing we have now is Sizzler's soup and salad bar lol. The old Izzy's Newport, OR is now called: The Hill Buffet Grill and they have the exact menu as the old Izzys. We can only hope that we get new owners soon and that they make it Buffet style like in Newport. 5 stars RIP
My entire family absolutely loves eating here. It is a relaxing place to enjoy a great meal, every time. The food is always delicious, and we enjoy the 'serve ' yourself atmosphere, no waiting. They have several great waiters and waitresses. Meggen is very attentive, always making sure the plates are cleared, and we are comfortable. Now, they serve brunch every Sunday, and the food is always delicious. Definitely our favorite restaurant in town.
Nice buffet for the price. Minus a star as we waited close to 15 minutes for any pizza to be put out. Looks like there may have been a big rush, but they had plenty of other options to choose from. Steak was small as to be expected, but had garlic and mushrooms. Dessert was good. Would try again if ever in Washington again.
