We arrived as walk ins for lunch and were seated straight away! Nice service throughout the meal by the girls working here. Very kind, attentive but not invasive. We ordered: Chicken Teriyaki Chicken Donburi Gyoza to share The two mains both came with bowls of miso soup, which we started with. Nice creamy, miso, flavourful. The teriyaki came on a hot plate which we didn’t expect (maybe didn’t pay too close attention to the menu?! was a nice large potion with a side of white rice, in a separate bowl. Overall very nice, good flavours. The donburi was also a nice portion size, if not a bit small for other American dishes we’ve had (we are English so was normal for us, might be considered small by American continent standards? flavourful. However I’ve always had donburi with an egg incorporated, no egg in this dish. And the sauce did taste on par with the teriyaki sauce? The atmosphere was nice. The restaurant itself could use a bit of love on the interior, nothing crazy, just some of the table were scratched up, and everything was rather ‘used’ condition wise. Nothing we had a problem with, but to make note of you think it’s going to be ‘fancy’ :
