Lakeside Manor - Kells

Standard of food has good extremely high and serivce fast and staff are on the ball. Only thing I say was the Irish coffee was in small glass and could have been hotter

Only had a meal there. Starter, chicken wings in bbq sauce. Not what I expected, chicken was a bit tough and dry, usually the meat falls off chicken wings. Was OK. Next course was fish and chips. Chips were OK, but the fish, though tasted OK oozed oil ever time I cut it. Very very greasy. It was an OK meal bit we agreed we wouldn't be hurrying back.

Went for the set 3 course meal. Starters were the ham hok and seafood chowder both were amazing. Main were the slow cooked beef and Hake. Both were really good but the beef was served on a cold plate. They had in-house cooked deserts being apple toffee pie and pumpkin pie. We had to be rolled out after. 3 courses 30 euro high quality food. The staff also were amazing and couldn't do more for us. I can't highly recommend the lakeside Manor highly enough. Its great to see amazing food back in Virginia.

Just pulled in to grab a cup of coffee and admire the view. Great coffee.

We as a group had a great nht with great food service and atmosphere, and Very Good beer
