The food was satisfactory, though the quality of the eggs, pancakes, and bacon varied from visit to visit, and we encountered different servers each time. The booths could certainly use some refreshing, as they appeared quite worn and had a lot of tape on them. On a positive note, I do appreciate that they provide real butter and maple syrup, and the staff were all friendly. It has that charming small-town vibe that I really love.
The food was awful. The biscuit and gravy arrived almost cold, and the gravy was more like a flour paste with just a few tiny bits of sausage—way too thick to enjoy. The clam strips had decent flavor, but they were very rubbery. For two people, our bill came to nearly $28 for a clam strip and fries special for $14, a small biscuit with that flour paste for $7, a small soda (kid's size), and a single cup of coffee. The service was lacking as well; once our waitress left, we couldn't find her again even though there were only four customers total, including us. If you can, steer clear of this place. I remember visiting years ago with family and the food and service were much better. Now, it feels like just an overpriced dive.
I've been visiting Timoleon's since we moved here 13 years ago, and I've always enjoyed the food. Their breakfast is excellent, and they serve wonderful comfort food for dinner. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.
Disappointing dining experience: The biscuit and gravy were nearly cold, and the gravy was essentially a thick flour paste with just a few small pieces of sausage, making it unenjoyable. The clam strips had an okay flavor but were very rubbery. For two people, the bill was nearly $28, which included the clam strips with fries special for $14, a small biscuit and gravy for $7, a kids' size soda, and a single cup of coffee. The service left much to be desired; our waitress disappeared and was difficult to find, even with just four customers at the table. If possible, I recommend avoiding this place. I visited years ago with my family, and the food and service were significantly better then. Now, it feels like an overpriced dive.

The last time I visited with my family years ago, both the food and service were much better. Now, it feels like an overpriced dive.
