The Lodge - Keego Harbor

This place was my first favorite bar grill to go! I don't usually go out much, but I wanted to try something new when I met my sister for lunch. The place is so beautiful and has a pleasant atmosphere! Our waitress, Jazzy M (on the side) was so nice and patient with us when we had no idea what to get. She was even able to ask the kitchen staff if we could have both chicken and beef on our nachos! This is the first time I went somewhere and left what I want to eat? That sounds so good! The cocktails were so dangerous GOOD! We got the Amarillo Lemonade and my friend got the North Woods Rum Punch (that I tried MIGHT Lol). We have the mozzarella sticks and interchangeable nachos that were too good to explain. I got the lodge crispy chicken sandwich, the friend got the Cajun chicken sandwich, and my sister couldn't get between half the rib or build your own burger so that she got both. She also got chicken soup and turkey chili. My Lord, there was so much food and I am also excited to eat these remains! The burgers and the chicken were juicy, the frits and nacho chips were crispy, the drinks were almost immediately refilled. That was such a great experience, thank you for Jazzy!

Fish and chips, where exceptional! Our waitress was on the ball all the time. My drinks not my plate was empty until I didn't ask for it. Great service and a beautiful environment. Whoever was my waitress needed an increase or recognition. She was a very polite young African American. From what I saw, she ran circles around the other waiting staff. My first visit and my husband weren't since they moved to this place. We're happy we came. We had both fish and chips. It was very good! The service staff was friendly, fast and professional. The decor was warm and there were many sports shows. The noise level was not bad at all. The prices were fair and if the food, the drinks and the atmosphere are so good, it is worth every penny. We look forward to returning.

My family who lives in town said we should try their favorite restaurant. Our whole table had the fish plate and it was a hit! We also tried their freshly baked cookies and WOW we were not disappointed, they were so delicious!

I enjoyed the all you can eat cod special for lunch on Friday. They offered either fried or baked cod. I also noticed they have lunch specials during the week that include a drink for just under $10 so I will definitely be back.
