Valentino's - Kearney

Delicious food, great variety, separate station for salad, suppen and hot vegetables, Italian entrees (lissagna, spaghetti, meatballs, various pastas, marinara and meat sauce,) pizzas, desserts. very clean and beautifully decorated, subtle lighting, clean toilet. I loved it! (senior rabatt too, over 60)

We enjoyed the place. eating was pretty good and the staff was friendly. the service was slow, and tables needed to clean up. but I don't owe the employees. as so many other places, they were very short employees.

Look I don’t want to bash this place but the food was subpar. Best part was the salad bar and the brownies. Anything that had what is supposed to be ground beef is pellet sized balls of meat in everything from the pizza to the lasagna and meat sauce for the pasta which I found unusual. The service was much better than the food but it wasn’t that busy. I’m glad I experienced it but I don’t think I would go again.

Picked up a pizza here for dinner. They were behind, so we got the pizza late which was a bummer because we were on a road trip and on a tight schedule. Then the pizza was really under cooked and doughy. We've had pizza at other Valentino's that have been fantastic but this was a pretty lackluster experience.

Valentinos used to be one of our favorite places to frequent when in Kearney. We started out by waiting about 5 min at the front counter no one to be found so we could pay. The buffet didn't have a lot of food put out. I had to ask for the salad to be refilled, there were also no clean forks so we had to wait to eat for clean silverware. I think it was the manager who was working the front and appeared to be the only one out there. This restaurant is slowly starting to look run down inside.
