Dj Apos;s Grill - Kearney

Stayed here while snowmobiling on the night of Feb 11, 2022. We could not find anything else in the area as it was all booked up. Owner Nick was very accommodating and offered us a Park Model trailer, gave us his personal cell number for when we arrived and called us back to ensure everything was good. Manager Ryan was also amazing and checked on us, brought us over anything we asked for and really made us feel welcomed and settled in. It was a great experience. Looking forward to returning and having the restaurant open. Great service.

Will let you know long drive for me ..up date, I'm hooked , best ever 3 times 3 different meals. Every one is by far best ever ..fish and chips amazing .cheers

I did not stop and stay at the resort but stopped by the restaurant on site for breakfast and all I can say all the staff were very polite and courteous. Breakfast was good and filling, if you like alot of food get the big breaky( yay, and a place that knows how to cook an egg to order. The restaurant was DJ's but as I am writing this, we were talking to the waitress and she let us know they will no longer be there after this week, as of October 2nd they will be located at the legion. So if you are ever in the area of Kearney and good friendly service with good food check this place out. It was a good stop for the start of a good atv ride.

Beautiful area. Rooms are tired but clean. Resort misleading....lots of projects underway making it look a bit messy.

If you want the owner to steal your money and then accuse you of scamming them go ahead and book here. When I called and booked the reservation, it was a great interaction, and I thought we had a great place to stay for my friends wedding weekend. I was so wrong. After driving 4 hours to get there we were told that there was no reservation booked even though I had a confirmation email and I showed them the money came off my visa. They told me they would refund my money and give a 2 nights stay next time we visit. Which was a great solution. Our friends had an extra bed in there cabin so we stayed with them. A week later I checked and no refund had been issued. I gave them a call and the owner started to accuse me of scamming them and refused to issue a refund so now I'm out the money. Terrible customer service don't waste your time, energy or money on this place.
