Out-o-town Supper Club - Kaukauna

Absolutely incredible as always! The staff is fantastic and very attentive. The food was delicious, and I simply love the tenderloin for two. So tasty!

My husband ordered a soup, and we shared a combination appetizer basket, which was enormous! We were surprised by the size since we’re used to smaller portions. It could easily serve up to four people, and we ended up taking half of it home. The salad bar had a lot of appealing options, but the ranch dressing was a bit of a disaster—it was so thick it wouldn’t come off the ladle! I ordered the tenderloin and a stuffed baked potato, eager to enjoy everything, including the sautéed mushrooms. They butterflied my steak, which arrived on a metal plate to keep it sizzling, but I found it quite bland and had to ask for au jus on the side. The stuffed potato, meant to be their take on a twice-baked variety, was also lacking in flavor; it was so plain that I struggled to eat it. Meanwhile, my husband ordered the tenderloin with sautéed scallops and fries. He really enjoyed his meal and, as a self-proclaimed scallop connoisseur, he said they were good but not the best he’s ever had. Despite the mixed feelings about the food, we had a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress, Sue. When she learned it was our anniversary as we were settling the check, she stopped us and said, "Wait, don’t leave yet! I have the BEST cupcake for you to celebrate!" She then brought us an adorable and delicious cupcake from a local bakery, which truly made our night special!

The lobster tail I had was quite chewy and lacked sufficient seasoning. We had a few different waitresses at our table, and their service was commendable. However, the restaurant was extremely crowded, creating a chaotic atmosphere. Additionally, I wasn't fond of our table's location, which was directly in front of the women's restroom.

Old school that is what I would call this place as you can see from my pictures they have an old-school salad bar which was terrific and our 25 people that went there to eat as a group all got what they wanted timely. The waitresses were lovely and the food was all good. I myself had the Wednesday special which was a tenderloin steak with shrimp, I ordered a side, a sweet potato and of course had the salad bar. Everything was very good. The service was timely even though we had a large group and I can't think of anything negative to say about it, but this is an easy five star.

Whiskey old fashions were odd tasting but the steak and scallops were AMAZING will definitely be back! The prices were great too.
