The Tasty Gator - Kaufman

Pretty good Cajun food for a small town like Kaufman. Started with bacon-wrapped shrimp followed by fried gator tail and shrimp with fire-roasted corn. Corn could have come with a little more butter, but kennels came clean off the cob. Gator was not slicedlike I?m used to, but tasted great. Hush puppies were over cooked ????. I?d come back if given the chance.

The Tasty Gator's weekend brunch is amazing but that's not surprising because all of their food is amazing. Highly recommend!

I actually purchased a Groupon for this place $60 worth of food and my husband and I literally got $60 worth! That was A LOT of food! We got a sample plate which is fried shrimp, gator and crawfish, 1lb of crawfish, 1 shrimp po boy, 1 gator and shrimpplate, side of corn and jambalaya. Everything was so good! Service is great! The young man at the register is very charismatic!He offered us to also try their chili and cheese hush puppies which were actually pretty good! We will definitely come back!

Great food and friendly service. Had a great lunch here with my friends this past Saturday. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Me and wife ate here on a Groupon deal. We will definitely be coming back. The shrimp and grits was awesome as well as the gator poor boy! A great place with great service! An awesome experience!
