Taqueria El Puesto - Kaufman

Sat evening visit, I am sad that our visit didn’t live up to the reviews. Service was slow although there were only a few occupied tables. Our orders were half breakfast and half dinner. Belgium waffle was soft, eggs unappetizing, the chicken fried steak was tender but way too salty. The fajitas were good as were the pancakes. So hit or miss. Staff are friendly. Mediocre food.

We LOVE this taqueria it is our favorite! We are from Forney but we drive to Kaufman just to get tacos. And that’s pretty frequently! Lol! The owner and his family run and work the place and they are all just so sweet and friendly! What else could you ask for great food, amazing people, comforting environment! Muchas gracias por atender la raza y por tratarnos como familia cuando vamos! Toda la comida siempre muy buenos !!

We always enjoy searching out local locations with unique vibes and this had it all.my husband had their special burger if the day and I had the chix strips. All we’re good but the onion rings were exceptional.
