Las Alamedas - Katy

In a group of four, only two people enjoyed their meals, and that was because they both ordered the fish tacos. I chose the Acapulco chicken while the other person ordered the redfish. Unfortunately, both dishes had clearly been under heat lamps for too long; the skin had formed an unpleasant layer and the food was cold. The service was so lackluster that we decided to eat a little and leave rather than wait for new dishes to be brought out. This was our second visit to Las Alamedas, and both experiences have been disappointing. Given the numerous restaurant options in Katy and Houston, there are far better choices that should keep this establishment from staying in business for much longer. I recommend saving your calories, time, and money by dining elsewhere.

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. Our waiter forgot one of our orders, and when the staff finally brought it, it was the wrong one. They did manage to get it right on the third try. I ordered the chicken silk, but it was very dry. The ceviche was not as good as I remember from previous visits. On a positive note, the margaritas were enjoyable. However, the restroom was a mess—one stall had no toilet paper, and there was an overflow of trash. Overall, my culinary experience on Saturday was not up to par, especially considering how much I enjoyed it during my earlier visits.

My family at the late lunch on holy evening. it was really bad and very dissimilar to our earlier visits.

Wife and I had a need for a great margarita and stopped at Las Alamedas. The margaritas were great and so was the food. Our server Taylor was the best. Thanks for a nice evening on your patio looking out at the xmas lights.

I enjoyed Las Alamedas as usual, thank you! The extra two place settings had not been picked up when we were seated nor at any time throughout the evening. I never got a definitive answer to whether the only sparkling wine available was dry or not. Whatever happened to wine card? Even if there are only a few items it would help to he able to see what they are.
