Fruit of the Moon - Kaslo

The family had always wanted to stop at this restaurant for a quick bite, but I personally never liked it. I didn't care for the fatty taste of their famous ice cream. No complaints about the food though. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been shut down since 2016.

Unfortunately, I am saddened to announce that the best breakfast burrito in British Columbia is no longer available. Fruit of the Moon has closed its doors for good. It is a shame.

We wanted to have a quick bite before heading to the Hotsprings and found this small place besides the road. You can only eat outside and the menu is basic, as is the eatery itself, but the owner(?) is very friendly and prepares everything fresh.

My husband and I visited the little restaurant for a quick breakfast , and were greeted by a lovely women who made me the PERFECT toasted bagel. It was soo fresh and was supplied with an ample amount of cream cheese and Fresh fruit! My husband had the breakfast sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed! The coffee was hot and delicious. I also want to thank this lovely lady and the couple who came slightly after us as they rescued my purse which I mistakenly left there! Everything intact! Thank you!

We stopped here on Monday after the Jazz Fest in Kaslo. What cute little place, great service and delicious food all served with fresh moon fruit. Highly recommend this treasure.
