I went there a couple of weeks ago. Good food, good service and a nice look out of the ocean. They also like birds and have a huge collection of them in cages. Came here because of the many good reviews. We also gave it a second chance, the first time we were there at a rather unusual time, around 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Were not satisfied, but thought maybe because of the time... So, as I said: 2nd chance. The second time in the evening. On both occasions only 1 or 2 tables were occupied apart from us. It felt like it took “forever” until someone noticed us, even though they had clearly seen us. However, the employees (owners? seemed to prefer to focus on themselves... Then finally someone came... well we mean something different by friendliness. The food is just average. The moussaka praised here was OK, but only consisted of minced meat and a huge layer of bechamel pudding... well... whoever likes it... Some dishes on the menu weren't available at all... that can happen... so we decided on Sofrito, which wasn't on the menu. It was somewhat OK, but it was slapped onto the plate so carelessly that it looked like leftover food from the day before. We have eaten this dish better several times this year but not here. Vinegar was only served with the salad after 10 minutes upon special request in a tiny bottle (20 ml . The garlic bread was only lukewarm and so dry that we assumed it was leftover from lunch. Conclusion: Great location/view, actually a nice restaurant, but neither the friendliness nor the food could convince us we don't come here anymore, but there are plenty of other, much better taverns!
