The portions were generous, exactly what our weary bodies were craving. I decided to try the garlic shrimp, and it was a flavor explosion! I’ve never encountered so much garlic in a single dish, but it was cooked to perfection. This is a must-try for anyone visiting the area! Service: Dine-in.
If you're staying in the northern part of the Big Island, be aware that nearly every restaurant closes by 6 PM, regardless of the day. This limited our options and led us to L&L BBQ, a place we had previously visited in California. However, this location exceeded our expectations by serving incredibly fresh and delicious food. The lumpia, chicken katsu, and lau lau combo were all fantastic, but the lumpia, macaroni salad, and katsu truly stood out for me. We received a generous amount of food at a reasonable price. Plus, the view of the street below during sunset was absolutely stunning.
I ordered the chow mein, and it was fantastic! I will definitely be ordering again. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

Great to stop after a hike at Pololu Valley! Great amazing food and at a very affordable price. Being tourists from Texas I can say L&L sure knows how to make good bacon and great breakfast! I will definitely come back again whenever I’m visiting the Islands. Aloha and Mahalo! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
