Wailua Shave Ice Kauai - Kapaa

I love this place. Probably one of the best shaved ice creams in Kauai. The staff is good, fairly fast and most important the choice and the flavors are excellent. We have tried almost every taste and they are amazing and well done.

Best Shave Ice on the island! We have tried them all, and this tops the show. Advised to visit here by ‘Brice’ and it was worth it. Most Shave Ice is just sugared syrup, and that, being a father is hard to say ‘yeah let’s go to more flavored corn syrup’! This place has the most natural flavors around. If your looking for the best Shave Ice, then you must come here and try it!

This place really blew me away. To begin with service is excellent. This place definitely has more of a mainland feel rather than the typical shave ice stands you see around Hawaii. However, that should not make you hesitate when deciding which shave ice to get. I ordered the Lava Flow. I asked for some chocolate sauce since I always like chocolate to balance fruity flavors. Presentation is great. First bite was incredible. While this was my first shave ice, after eating a few more from different locations afterwards, I can say that this one was my favorite. I will be back for sure!

Not your mainland shave ice. This is so much better, polar cones and other shave ice is often mostly chunky unfun ice with pumped on colors of sugar. This is basically soft snow with fun flavors and creative toppings. Theres is a reason there is always a line. Ube, passionfruit, watermelon, triple coconut all delicious. Even if there is a line, it moves and your wait wont be too long. Recommend if you are in the area. You can add on extra coconut foam if you want to any bowl.

I didn't get the chance to have any ice for myself, but my group did enjoy some. I felt like the lonely little sheep, missing out on the cold delight. While they savored their treats, I was left with only my silent disappointment, dreaming of the creamy goodness they were experiencing. One member asked what "razor ice" was, but moments later, she declared it was really good, and then even better. Her mouth was filled with sweet joy, while mine was dry and empty, missing out on those icy delights. Overall, it’s a great place! Super fast service, super fun, and super cool—literally! Just be careful because it melts quickly!
