The Mixx Country Club Plaza

Great menu and location on Plaza. Lightening is a little too low for my liking but then again they aren't offering dine-in at the moment. Patio flowers were being refreshed tho.

It was GREAT! They have lots of salad options to choose from and a variety of dressings, so I will definitely go back. I tried for my first visit their Santa Fe chicken salad and asked for the dressing on the side.. just in case! Yum!! Can't wait to try the tacos ????

Delicious!! We live out of state but come to KC every couple of years for chiefs and/or royals games. We discovered The Mixx in August and since then have been counting down the days until we returned in October. We went there everyday for lunch this visit. The rocket is the best salad I have ever had. Everyone is very friendly and the line moves so efficiently. I am so very sad as we don’t have anymore trips to KC planner for the next long while, but whenever we visit in the future The Mixx will always be on our to-do list!

Even though it's counter service, the people here are great! And their salads are simply the best!

The restaurant was relatively busy with several Togo orders but my food came within several minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Pretzel Chicken Sando with the soup of the day (Chicken Roja something). The soup was flavorful but not spicy. Not too salty either (there is a salt shaker on all the tables in case you want to add more). The sandwich was a bit too greasy. When I picked it up, my hands were coated in oil. But the sandwich tasted great. The flavor combinations worked well together I didn’t feel too heavy after I finished it (as you typically do with greasy food). The music here wasn’t too loud, which I appreciated. But it could’ve been a little lower imo.
