Slap's Bbq - Kansas City

The pulled pork and brisket were quite good, and their sauce is really tasty. However, the sides left something to be desired. Overall, it was decent; I'd consider getting it again for lunch. However, if I want to impress friends or family with what true Kansas City barbecue is all about, I wouldn't choose this place. It just doesn't have that wow factor.

This is definitely one of the best, if not the absolute best, BBQ places in Kansas City! The food is delicious, the staff is outstanding, and the location is easy to find. However, they could use more parking space.

Slaps bbq is a lovely place. A good weekend getaway with family and friends. The staff are helpful and serve with a smile. Will definitely come another time to this place.

We reserved this restaurant for our wedding in April, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made! Francine was amazing and very professional throughout the process. We had 200 guests and chose pulled pork, chicken legs, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Our guests enjoyed the food so much that we ended up with no pulled pork or mac and cheese left! I highly recommend them for any catering needs!

Eaten here a few times, always good! They stay busy. Will be going back again when I'm in town!
