Iron Wok Chinese - Kansas City

I have never had a problem with the iron wok until tonight my wife and I always get the same thing because it's always so good sweet and sour chicken for tonight the chicken was hard and we could not chew it don't get me wrong we will still patronize the iron wok but I spent over $70 I am disappointed to say the least.

Everything was hot and fresh, but the fried rice was saturated in soy sauce and all stuck together. We got the seafood delight and it was mostly veggies and a sprinkle of seafood. Crab Rangoon was the best part.

I've ordered from here via DoorDash twice and both times the food has been horrible. Sushi should not be WARM and TOUGH. Yuck! I gave them the benefit of the doubt by ordering a second time. Never again.

We only ever order carry out so I can't speak to the ambiance, but the food is delicious and the portions are huge! One dish is enough for 3 meals. They also offer a large variety and a lot of different dishes compared to other Chinese restaurants. Try the walnut shrimp- it's sweet, but also creamy and delicious! Almost like a shrimp dessert.

This is one gem of a find in North Kc. We stopped in on our drive to Omaha and the manager Sydney was amazing. He was extremely nice and helpful when making our lunch choices. He recommended a Snow White sushi roll that is probably the best I have ever tasted. I highly recommend stopping off at this place the next time you are traveling through NKC!
